What is the Playskool® Poppin Park™?
The Playskool® Poppin Park™ series of toys includes a number of items with various designs to allow babies and toddlers to use hands, feet, and body to interact physically and learn motor skills. The Poppin Park™ series includes the Bounce ‘n Ride™, the Roll ‘n Pop™, the Fill n’ Spill Hippo™, and the Pound ‘n Pop™. Now, with the addition of the Elefun Busy Ball Popper™, little fingers will have yet another way to develop skills and have fun.
All about the Elefun Busy Ball Popper™
The Elefun Busy Ball Popper™ is shaped like an elephant, in bright blue with colorful purple ears, yellow arm and tummy, and a green arm as well. The five colorful plastic balls can be placed in the elephant’s arm, and when the unit is turned on, the balls pop out of the trunk. The trunk is movable so that you can position it to shoot the balls in various directions. Children learn to place the balls in their proper place and enjoy watching them shoot out of the trunk, then can retrieve them and try again. The balls will sometimes fall back into the elephant’s trunk, sometimes into its tummy, and will sometimes roll completely across the floor, allowing baby to chase them. Best of all, the unit plays lively music while operating, helping children to enjoy the toy audially as well as visually and tactilely. The unit teaches cause and effect and helps to develop gross motor skills, fine motor skills, and hand-eye coordination.
Who is the The Elefun Busy Ball Popper™ for?
The Playskool® Poppin Park™ Elefun Busy Ball Popper™ does not come with batteries and operation will require 4 “D” batteries and is not suitable for children under the age of nine months. However, children over nine months of age will enjoy the Elefun Busy Ball Popper™, and there are no small parts to pose choking hazards. The balls are lightweight and will cause no harm, even if the child grabs for one as it exits the unit.
How much is the Elefun Busy Ball Popper™?
The current prices are ranging from $24.88 to $29.99, with suggested retail price at $29.99. The toy is expected to be a “hot” item this Christmas, so prices may fluctuate as the holiday draws closer. You may also be able to find it for less in the pre-holiday sales, particularly Black Friday sales.
Black Friday sales for baby items may be particularly crowded, so it is important to shop early and be at the retailer’s location when the stores open if possible. You should do a bit of research on the particular stores where you will shop; many retailers offer very early opening hours on Black Friday, and the hottest toys will disappear soon after the stores are open. Some stores open as early as midnight; it is quite common for stores to open prior to 6 a.m. in many markets. You can find store opening hours and information about particular sales by looking in your local newspaper or at the retailer’s websites; they will list opening hours and may have coupons or other discounts available only at certain times on Black Friday.
How to save money on the Elefun Busy Ball Popper™?
Another way to save money on the Playskool® Poppin Park™ Elefun Busy Ball Popper™ is to visit the same retailers online prior to Black Friday for special “online only” sales. Some retailers offer special deals online which are not available in the stores. Others operate only online, such as Amazon and Overstock. Many online retailers offer special deals prior to Black Friday itself, such as on Thanksgiving Day. Others offer sales over the entire weekend of Thanksgiving, and even on the Monday after, which is known as “Cyber Monday,” allowing those who missed the Black Friday sales or did not find what they were looking for a last chance to save money on Christmas shopping.
Remember that supplies will be limited, both in stores and online, for the “hot” toys of the season. Retailers will sell out quickly, and online merchants may be back-ordered for particular items. The sooner you can secure your shopping goals, the better. Try visiting your favorite retailers prior to Black Friday, and find out how quickly “supplies are limited” begins to appear. The earlier you see this message, the more imperative it is to do your shopping early, or risk not having the toys you want for Christmas.
